Online registration has now started and will go to July 31st for Early registration rates for resident players that reside within the Camrose Minor Hockey Association.
CMHA is implementing the TeamSnap registration platform for the 2020 / 2021 Hockey Season. This system will provide CMHA a simpler and more efficient way to register participants, roster players, and have a seamless integration into the TeamSnap APP. This will become the standard for all Minor Hockey Associations in the future as this partnership with Hockey Canada continues to grow.
As of August 1, rates will go up $100.00 excluding U7 and under. As it is still unknown if hockey will start in September, we will be pro-active and hope that it will and if start up times change, rates will be modified and reimbursements given.
Rebate programs are available for families that have 3 or more players. Please go to the rebate application form found under the registration tab at the top of the page.
Financial Assistance links can be found under the Registration tab and should be submitted as soon as possible.
A few things that you will need to register your child are
1) Your children’s Hockey Canada Hockey ID # Hockey Canada Account
2) A TeamSnap account.

NEW FIRST TIME PLAYERS - Pre-Registration Requirements
Respect in Sport Program for 2020 - 2021
In the spring of 2017, Hockey Alberta announced that Parents and Coaches/Team Officials would be required to recertify their Respect in Sport every four seasons. The requirement to recertify comes into effect on May 1st of the four-year anniversary of course completion. If this is not completed, you will not be able to register online until completed.
As with any change, there are questions. Hockey Alberta has compiled the following RIS-FAQ to address concerns and questions from parents, coaches and team officials.
New Player to CMHA from another Association
If you are moving to Camrose from another Association, you will need to complete the Parent Declaration which is now an online form with Hockey Alberta. Click on this link Parent Declaration to complete the form and in the email address of the new association, please put email@example.com. Once this is received, CMHA will put in an electronic transfer request and you will be notified when completed and then be able to register on line with your payment.
TRYOUT FEES AND NON RESIDENT PLAYERS TRYING OUT FOR ANY AA TEAM or PLAYING ON A FEMALE TEAM
Please be aware that there are additional fees for successful players making AA Teams. This should be considered prior to tryouts. There is a much larger commitment both financially and time wise.
Tryout fees are not due until the first tryout date and there will be someone present to accept e-transfer, cash or cheque at that time. Stay tuned to this website for tryout dates.
If trying out for any of the AA teams, please complete the online notice (Notice to Tryout ) by August 31 and bring along or email the AA Notice of Tryout form ( AA HOCKEY NOTIFICATION OF TRY-OUT FORM) or Player Movement form for the 15 year old team to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are coming to Camrose to play on one of our Female teams or the 15 year old Midget team, you must complete the Player Movement Form.
If successful at making a AA team, the Minor Hockey Coordinator will contact you regarding registration fee payment.
